Poe
the IVth's POSSESSION by Poe, is comedic in nature, and addresses
the popular perceptions of a tragically misunderstood genius.
Included in the evening are some of Poe's works (The Telltale
Heart, The Raven, etc.) familiar to many along with others
known only by a few. This promises to be a uniquely entertaining
and eerily interesting evening of theatre with surprises,
thrills, and, of course, goose bumps. Audiences will be raven
about the show long after it ends.
Edgar
Allan Poe IV, the great-great-great-grand nephew of the original
Poe, has appeared in over 100 plays throughout the country.
He has been on stage at the Fremont Centre Theatre in several
Pasadena Shakespeare Company productions, and can be seen
in their upcoming production of The Tempest. He has apeared
in over 50 films and TV shows, and even portrayed his famous
relative in a recent TV episode of "Sabrina, The Teenage
Witch", and the feature film, Monkeybone, with Brenden
Fraser and Whoopi Goldberg.
